During this meeting, they presented the necessary documents and formally requested permission to form the new government.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Soren expressed his gratitude to the people of Jharkhand for their support. He stated, “Today, we have taken the first step towards forming a new government. We have submitted our resignations from existing roles and have officially claimed the right to govern under the people’s mandate.”
The Governor accepted their request and handed Soren the responsibility of serving as the interim Chief Minister until the new government is officially formed. The swearing-in ceremony will solidify his position as the state’s Chief Minister.
